ACAL announces immediate availability of SiliconSystems drop-in replacements for end-of-life Solid State Storage products

The SiliconDrive II CF product line has a multi-year product lifecycle and additionally includes SiSecure, which has a suite of advanced security tools that include fast erase and data purge features. Each SiliconDrive includes patented technology that is of high value to customers in the Enterprise System OEM market, which require high duty cycles and industry-leading data integrity.

SiliconDrive EP and SiliconDrive II are 2.5 HDD form factor products for military and high-end telecom customers in applications like mission data recorders, network routers and switches, and industrial automation workstations. OEMs developing these applications value the security, multi-year product lifecycle, environmental, and performance characteristics of all SiliconDrive products. The 2.5” drives are available with either PATA or SATA interfaces.

SiliconDrive II USB 10-pin SSD modules address the needs of many enterprise system OEMs, which have adopted this technology and form factor into their systems because the 10-pin male connector is common on many motherboards and single-board computers. Most 10-pin module manufacturers take a ‘controller-agnostic’ approach and may substitute different controllers throughout a product’s lifecycle. This approach may result in system incompatibility or failure. SiliconSystems uses its own patented controller technology, thereby guaranteeing a multi-year product lifecycle and system compatibility.
All SiliconSystems products are available in commercial temperature 0 to +70C and industrial temperature –40 to +85C operating range.
