Recognised by major OEMs as a reliable and trusted supplier, Transonics announces that it has shipped more than 10m MCUs in 2014. Transonics guarantee their customers peace of mind with full batch traceability, independently audited quality certification and approvals and £500,000 of MCU inventory in their UK warehouse. Transonics bespoke inventory management systems can schedule customer orders and maintain buffer stocks.

In addition to supplying MCUs, Transonics offers an extensive range of value added services. Transonics owns Leicester based Lewmax Programming and, since its acquisition in 2006, has invested over £1m on additional plant and machinery. Lewmax can offer customers full programming services, laser marking and tape reeling.

Daniel French, Managing Director, Transonics, commented: “Microchip has just ‘axed’ two UK franchises which demonstrates how volatile component supply chains can be. More customers are now turning to Transonics for very good reasons. We have been supplying electronic components for nearly 40 years and work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and provide a full and reliable service. We have a simple message - Isn’t it time you joined the hundreds of customers benefiting from Transonics?”
