Direct to battery 3 to 5V operation eliminates the need for an LDO regulator, reducing overall BOM costs. The SKY85716-11 meets tough linearity targets with 17.5dBm MCS7 and 16dBm MCS9 output power at 3.3V. An integrated power detector with 20dB of dynamic range is included to provide closed-loop power control within the system. It also features high power mode and power save mode to provide further current saving when operating under lower power.
The device is provided in a compact, 16-pin, 2.3×2.3×0.33mm QFN package. Samples and evaluation boards are available, and pricing depends on quantities.
