O’Reilly has announced availability of its services on the G-Cloud 12 framework. Acceptance onto the framework will enable government organisations to subscribe to the O’Reilly platform and gain access to advanced technical learning.

The platform will provide public sector professionals with access to advanced training from more than 200 expert publishers to enable organisations to grow, adapt and stay competitive. Users will have access to learning that will equip them with the skills they need to make decisions, problem solve and become experts in technical skills, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), data-science and cloud implementation.

Training on the platform is delivered in multiple formats including live training, playlists, interactive coding scenarios, books, videos and case studies, so users can learn in a way that suits them. Users will also be able to leverage interactive scenarios and sandboxes to gain hands-on experience with programming and container technologies, such as Python and Docker.

“This year, more than any other, the public sector has been under a spotlight to leverage technology and adapt at lightspeed to support the evolving needs of citizens. To do this, they need training and guidance from credible experts – and that is exactly where we can help,” said Laura Baldwin, President at O’Reilly.

“We’re excited to have been selected for inclusion into the UK’s G-Cloud digital marketplace so we can continue our deep history of helping public sector organisations drive transformation through technology. We held our first Gov 2.0 conference over a decade ago and have only become more passionate about enabling government entities to leverage technology to improve services for the public.”

Organisations that wish to subscribe to the O’Reilly learning platform with discount pricing can find more information on the Digital Marketplace website.
