Fujitsu Exhibits Leading 4G WiMAX Terminals at the WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2010

Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) is demonstrating the latest 4G WiMAX terminals based on its leading triple-band system solution, on Stand 31, Hall 10, at this week’s WiMAX Forum Global Congress. Fujitsu’s WiMAX portfolio addresses the market needs for dedicated VoIP solutions, including stationary, embedded and low power mobile terminals. The company’s WiMAX chipset, comprising the MB86K52 triple-band transceiver, MB39C316 power management device and MB86K23 base-band device, supports 2.3GHz, 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz bands in a single small form factor so that terminal vendors can offer high performance future-proof systems ready for future roaming requirements.

Operators visiting Fujitsu’s stand can experience low cost WiMAX netbooks, versatile WiFi – WiMAX desktop-mobile routers, and WiMAX desktop phones featuring high quality VoIP and data.

Fujitsu and its WiMAX ecosystem partners support WiMAX activities worldwide with standard and custom solutions, extensive interoperability testing, and field optimisation to maximise performance and user experience.

To find out more, please visit FME’s marketing and engineering teams who will be available throughout the event to discuss the company’s WiMAX products and their potential applications.
