The new antenna is 50.5mm long x 10.5mm wide x 3.0mm high and operates at a frequency range of 470 to 750MHz with a maximum 3D gain of minus 4.5 decibels isotropic (dBi) at 470 MHz and minus 3.5dBi at 750 MHz, with a minimum return loss of minus 3dB. This exceeds the Mobile and Portable DVB-T/H Radio Access Interface (MBRAI) specifications by a margin of 4dB, ensuring high performance with minimal signal loss.
The W3520 antenna has a micro-miniature connector interface, the coaxial RF connector standard for wireless devices, and integrated circuits. Easy, snap-in installation requires no special RF training or expertise. It has 360 degrees of rotation, an impedance of 50 Ohms, and operating temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
The W3520 is a very short, rigid connector with mechanical durability that can withstand most twisting and bending without breaking. While most antennas of this type are either whip antennas with a long wire or retractable antennas that work only in the extended position, the W3520 DVB-H gives excellent performance in a smaller size. They are part of Pulse’s RoHS compliant TV mobile antenna family.
