Security measures are crucial for protecting sensitive data such as credit card and account information. Until now, PIN entry was only possible via an additional keypad. New PCAP touch controller now offer additional integrated security functions with encryption of touch data and cryptographic authentication via the software. In addition to adapting the software to the system, the design of the hardware is also crucial in order to create an optimal outdoor HMI with integrated payment function.
