Panasonic collaboration with Claas Saulgau GmbH

Claas Saugau GmbH extends their production facilities with three new welding systems with a total of five Panasonic welding robots of the latest generation and technology.

Frederik Kahlbau, Key Account Manager for Claas Saulgau states: “We delivered the first Panasonic welding system to Claas Saulgau GmbH in 2014. Over the last few years, many other welding systems have been added. I am very pleased that we were able to convince the customer again with our technology and our "everything from a single source" concept."

At the production facility in Bad Saulgau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Claas Saulgau produces mowers, tedders, windrowers, loader wagons, and chaff transport wagons. In addition, attachments as well as intake and chopper units are built for the JAGUAR forage harvester.

Stefan Remensperger, Head of Pre-Manufacturing at Claas Bad Saulgau, looks forward to the close collaboration: “Panasonic was awarded the contract for this significant project due to the efforts made in preparing the offer, the experience gained from previous plant investments, and the very positive cooperation to date. The very high level of expertise as well as the willingness to realise our rapidly growing requirements for the plant equipment in every new project is very much appreciated at Panasonic. This includes the robots with welding power sources and torch equipment as well as consumables, spare parts, and much more.

Our employees, as well as our maintenance department, have been working with Panasonic equipment for many years. This experience can be incorporated into the new systems and makes it easier for us to implement and maintain the new systems.
