Standard parts specialist norelem has revealed a new range of actuators designed to provide precise, intelligent motion control across a wide spectrum of handling and automation applications. Engineered as complete mechatronic systems, the actuators reliably convert motion commands into mechanical motion, providing industrial automation professionals with robust, high-performance solutions.

Each actuator integrates a battery-free multiturn encoder, gearbox, motor, and integrated power and control electronics – making them self-contained, intelligent adjustment units that are ready for immediate deployment in automation environments.

The new actuators were engineered specifically for norelem’s linear unit portfolio, ensuring seamless compatibility and optimal performance. They can be paired with the linear unit, the double-pipe linear unit with trapezoidal lead screw drive, the double-tube linear unit with mounting plate and the aluminum square linear unit – norelem’s recently launched, high-rigidity unit offering low deflection, high load stability, and easy handling. To support secure integration, norelem also provides a dedicated mounting set comprising a torque bracket and mounting bracket to prevent corotation with the machine shaft.

“By expanding our actuator portfolio, we are offering engineers and system designers a versatile, ready-to-integrate solution that enhances the precision and efficiency of their automation projects,” said Almir Jakupovik, Sales Director, norelem. “With compatibility across multiple norelem linear units and support for leading industrial communication protocols, these actuators provide flexibility without compromise.”

Available in 18 versions, the actuators are designed to meet diverse technical and application requirements. They deliver 5 Nm torque output, support communication via PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, or IO-Link, and can be mounted on machine shafts with diameters of 8, 10, or 12mm. Customers can pick between stainless steel and aluminum construction, while an IP67 protection rating ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
