EVBox and has·to·be have partnered up to further improve the state of eMobility. The common goal for this collaboration is to provide the best possible charging experience to EV drivers - this collaboration helps to extend the EV charging network for both EVBox charging cardholders and has·to·be eMSP.OPERATION customers.

All of EVBox’s charging stations have integrated OCPI standards so they can communicate with various charging station management systems (CSMS). Since September 2019, has·to·be has been using OCPI which enables EVBox cardholders to charge at one of has·to·be's COMMUNITY 8,000 charging points located throughout Europe.

For its global network, has·to·be also works with companies such as IONITY, Daimler, and Fitek—amongst others. The partnership between EVBox and has·to·be ensures that has·to·be eMSP.OPERATION customers get access to over 20,000 public EVBox charging points throughout Europe.

Cecile Post, Business Developer, eMobility Solutions at EVBox, said: “We at EVBox are on a mission toward a zero-emission future and are constantly onboarding new partners to join us on this journey. We are happy to announce that this partnership with has·to·be gives EV drivers with an EVBox charging card access to 8,000 charging points in has·to·be’s network throughout 19 different European countries.

“Moreover, MSP customers of has·to·be will get access to over 20,000 public EVBox charging points in Europe. This way, we hope to move eMobility forward and encourage more people to start driving electric.”

Lukas Bauer, Head of Partner Management at has·to·be, added: “The connection and partnership with EVBox means a substantial increase in the network of publicly accessible charging points for the MSP customers of has·to·be. We are delighted to provide—together with EVBox—a solid blueprint for cross-provider cooperation in the interest of EV drivers.”
