Designed to protect downstream DC/DC converters in vehicle, mobile or avionic applications of up to 230W power rating, Stadium Power has introduced a range of military power system protection filters. The COBRA family consists of a range of low profile, PCB mounted, baseplate cooled, fully compliant surge and transient protection modules with integral EMC filter.

Four models are available all with an input voltage range of 9-38V DC; the COBRA65m has a maximum current rating of 7A a t65W, the COBRA115m is rated at a 10A and maximum power at 9V input is 90W and at 18V is 115W, the COBRA175m which has a maximum current rating of 15A, offers maximum power of 135W at 9V input  and maximum power of 175W at 18V input and finally the COBRA230m with a maximum current 20A and maximum power at 9V input of 180W and maximum power at 18V input of 230W.

All Cobra filters feature an output disable signal, electronically limited inrush current, reverse polarity protection, standard surge protection to MIL-STD 1275 with the option of DEF-STAN 61-5 part 6 issue 6, meet EN60950-1, EMC MIL-STD 461 E-F and have a 3 year warranty. Operating temperature range is from -46 to +90°C with the option from -55 to +90°C, humidity of 5 - 95% RH non-condensing, altitude of 51,000ft and operating below sea level of 1,500ft.
