Perpetuum secures contract with Network Rail

Perpetuum has secured an important contract with Network Rail. The contract, which means Perpetuum will provide ongoing services to Network Rail for track condition analysis, comes after 12 months of development work with the national rail infrastructure owners.

Track condition is calculated using vibration data from the 1,000s of Perpetuum-equipped wheelsets on Southeastern’s C375 and C376 trainsets.

“The opportunity to bring real-time asset information to both infrastructure managers and rolling stock maintainers from a single device on a passenger train opens up exciting new opportunities for how we manage our railway in the future,” explains Dave Deeley, Special Projects Manager, South East Performance Improvement Project, Network Rail.

“We are delighted that we are able to move to the next stage in our partnership with Network Rail on this truly innovative workstream,” said Justin Southcombe, Commercial Director, Perpetuum.
