Designed to provide the highest speed data and communication links between trains and the fixed telecoms infrastructure, the omnidirectional SENCITY Rail 2×2 MIMO antennas are capable of supporting frequencies of 698MHz-6GHz (including LTE, 2G and 3G for all mobile communication networks worldwide, as well as WiFi 2.4 and 5GHz).
Comprised of two broadband radiating elements in a single compact housing, the omnidirectional SENCITY Rail 2×2 MIMO antennas are available in two different variants: one with integrated GPS/LNA and one without. The antennas have been designed with the same mounting footprint as all existing SENCITY Rail units. This allows users to easily upgrade to 2×2 MIMO.
With an extremely robust design to survive the harshest rail environments, these SENCITY antennas meet the requirements of EN 50155 and the fire safety requirements of EN 45545-2. Additionally, they are protected against exposure to high voltage and current in the event of overhead line failure.
