Mouser, ST unite for transportation resource site

Mouser Electronics and STMicroelectronics (ST) have partnered to create a new resource site devoted to developing new solutions for the transportation industry.

New transportation products and technological innovations are allowing travelers to reach their destinations faster, more safely, more efficiently, and with a decreased environmental impact.

The new transportation prototyping ecosystem site from Mouser and ST offers a rich collection of articles, tutorials, lectures and product guides to help create the next generation of transportation solutions.

Included on the transportation prototyping site are more than 25 resources to support applications including electric vehicle design, acoustic vehicle alert systems, and adaptive front lighting solutions.

Each article includes product information for relevant ST solutions, connecting transportation designers and engineers to the information and technology needed to address each application.

Mouser offers a comprehensive selections of ST products, including application-specific solutions for transportation solutions such as microcontrollers, drivers, and evaluation kits. For example, ST's Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System AutoDevKit consists of an SPC582B Power Architecture microcontroller Discovery Board, a Class-D automotive audio amplifier evaluation board, and necessary speakers.

The scalable evaluation solution is designed to help engineers create a system to emit vehicle warning sounds and alert pedestrians to the presence of electric drive vehicles.

ST's AEKD-AFLLIGHT1 adaptive front lighting system is a car headlight assembly capable of accommodating adaptive front light adjustment systems for development and simulation. Both solutions enable rapid prototyping and shorten the time necessary to achieve proof of concept and begin prototyping.
