As part of the CattronControl series of remote control systems, the LRC-LO is a versatile radio controller specifically designed for controlling low speed shunting vehicles used at loading stations. It employs advanced, dual-processor electronics that are protected in a lightweight, impact-resistant, ergonomic Lexan EXL housing.
The LRC-LO includes a high safety class which is achieved through a redundant hardware and software structure, and is suited for applications requiring EN ISO 13849-1, Performance Level d; but not EN 50239. It also incorporates a reverse-engraved front plate, which can endure extremely hard wearing in industrial environments.

“The LRC-LO is a versatile radio controller that has been especially developed and manufactured for low speed shunting vehicles used at loading stations. As part of the newest product available in the CattronControl™ product line, it provides the next level of safety and reliability that enables the operator to work from a more secure and efficient location,” said Volker Böckenholt, Cattron European Sales Director for Railway Systems. “The controller also meets approval and frequency requirements, making it compliant for worldwide deployment.”

The controller is equipped with the proven dual-axis joystick, and all operating elements are arranged to ensure a comfortable and safe one-hand operation. It also utilizes the company’s external TransKey™ RFID configuration for efficient operations. This allows facilities to minimize spares and transfer keys to other controllers, while adding a level of safety and flexibility to streamline facility workflow.

Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, has assembled the most comprehensive collection of radio remote control brands for material handling equipment, mobile equipment, and virtually any equipment where the operator can be moved to a safer, more efficient location. With 65 years of radio frequency (RF) and industrial wireless remote control experience, the company has approximately 7,000 customers with a total installed base of over 150,000 wireless remote control systems throughout the world.
