In order to meet the advanced clocking requirements in modern vehicle systems, Fox Electronics has expanded its XpressO product line to include three sizes of automotive-grade, HCMOS oscillators featuring the same exceptionally low jitter as the rest of the series. These models conform to AEC-Q200 requirements, making them suited for automotive applications.

Offering a frequency resolution to six decimal places in the range of 0.75-250MHz, the 3.3V oscillators operate over extended temperature ranges from -40 to +85°C in industry standard pin-out, footprints and packages: 2x2.5; 5x3.2; and 7x5mm. A tri-state enable/disable feature is included.

Suitable for use in a variety of automotive electronics systems, typical applications for the latest XpressO oscillators include in-cabin electronics for comfort and convenience, proximity sensing for back-up cameras and parking assist as well as monitoring for optimum vehicle operations.

Featuring Fox’s proprietary ASIC technology with a 3rd order Delta Sigma Modulator, the XpressO oscillators can significantly reduce noise to levels comparable with traditional bulk quartz and SAW oscillators. The ASIC family enables the selection of output type, input voltages and temperature performance within the oscillator.

Pricing and delivery are dependent upon specifications and quantity.
