Digital input closed-loop automotive Class-D audio amplifier
The TAS5720A-Q1 from Texas Instruments is a mono I2S input Class-D audio amplifier which is suited for use in automotive emergency call (eCall), telematics, acoustic vehicle alerting system (AVAS) and EV/HEV sound generation applications. The device provides up to 25W instantaneous power into 4Ω at ten percent THD+N at 14.4V.
The TAS5720A-Q1 also includes hardware and software (I²C) control modes, an integrated digital clipper, selectable gain options, and a wide power supply operating range (4.5 to 26.4 V).
The device is offered in a thermally enhanced 32-Pin TSSOP package.
