Allstar has announced that flexible Charge Point Management System, Fuuse, has joined its ever-expanding EV charging network.

The alliance means that Allstar's on the road solution, Allstar One Electric, can now be accepted at an additional 466 charge points, across 124 locations, to the Allstar EV Network. This brings the total to more than 4,200 charging locations and over 11,900 charge points - further increasing accessibility to UK drivers recharging across the country.

Recent research suggests only 56% of British homes can currently support electric charging points, due to a lack of off-street parking. With more businesses making the transition to electric fleets and many drivers taking their work car home with them at the end of the day, it's important that they have easy access to recharging facilities regardless of whether they have off-street parking or not.

Fuuse is a fully flexible EV charge point management platform, enabling charge point operators (CPOs) to open their chargers to businesses and the public. The Fuuse network includes many local authorities, as well as nationwide destinations such as hotels, retail outlets, educational settings and health facilities to ensure recharging is as easy as possible.

The new partnership with Fuuse allows Allstar to expand its on-the-road offering to those that need to charge their fleet vehicles with speed, ease and maximum convenience. To achieve this goal, it is committed to making strategic partnerships, such as that with Fuuse, that significantly enhance its EV charging network in this way.

Commenting on the announcement, Tom Rowlands, Managing Director, Global EV Solutions at Allstar, said: "As the UK's fleets continue to transition to EVs, it is crucial that we continue to enhance our proposition and remove the barriers to entry. Fuuse is connected with a number of local authorities, hotels and destinations, allowing us to bring in multiple independent CPOs at once, increasing accessibility to drivers. We're thrilled to be working together."

Michael Gibson, CEO and Co-founder of Fuuse, added: "We're tremendously excited to be joining Allstar's EV charging network. This partnership is a crucial step in our mission to make public chargers more accessible to all EV drivers, while also minimising friction for fleet drivers as they navigate the transition to EV."
