Space Tech Expo Europe, Europe’s largest business-to-business space industry exhibition, will return to Bremen from 18-20th November 2025, marking its tenth anniversary. The event will host more than 950 exhibitors and expects over 10,000 attendees at MESSE Bremen, highlighting the city’s growing role as a hub for German and European aerospace activity.
The trade show has expanded significantly since its launch in 2015 with 100 exhibitors, reflecting the broader surge in global space investment. “Our 10 years in Bremen have brought together the European space community in ways we could barely have imagined,” said Gordon McHattie, Event Director of Space Tech Expo. “This year’s edition represents the largest number of exhibiting companies ever gathered for a space event, demonstrating the extraordinary growth of the global space sector.”
Exhibitors present at every edition, including Fraunhofer Aviation & Space, Glenair, ZARM, Luxembourg Space Agency, Tesat Spacecom, and OHB SE, will showcase the latest developments in satellite operations, launch services, ground systems, and dual-use technologies.
The global space technology market was estimated at USD 466.1 billion in 2024 and is forecast to reach USD 769.7 billion by 2030, driven by both government programmes and private sector investment in satellite communications, earth observation, space tourism, and interplanetary exploration. Space Tech Expo Europe serves as a key platform for connecting industry leaders, fostering partnerships, and unveiling cutting-edge innovations across the space supply chain.
The 2025 edition will feature four specialised conferences addressing industry trends, small satellites, connectivity, and technology developments. The event has also expanded programming to cover strategic security and defence, reflecting space’s increasing importance as critical infrastructure. Speakers include Dr Marcus Pleyer, State Secretary at Germany’s Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space; Major David Meigne of the French Space Command; and Robert de Groot, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank.
New initiatives this year include the Skills Lab, a stream of masterclasses and workshops aimed at developing industry expertise, and The Upper Deck in Hall 4.1, offering interactive experiences including a 360-degree video booth and social media engagement.
