Ultracapacitator-based products deliver power for emergency generators

It has been announced Maxwell Technologies has released the Generator Starting Solutions (GSS) product line. As the newest addition to the company´s ultracapacitor-based product offerings, the GSS modules help start commercial and industrial standby and backup generators.

Development agreement advances ultracapacitor technologies

DARPA Awards $1.7 Million Contract to Maxwell Technologies for Development of Advanced Energy Storage Device

Maxwell Technologies, Inc. Maxwell Technologies, Inc. announced today that 462,461 warrants to purchase Maxwell common stock at a price of $16.22 per share were exercised in full on December 20, 2010, resulting in cash proceeds of approximately $7.5 million.
