Architecture added for a Trifecta of FACE 3.0 certifications
Green Hills Software has announced it has completed the certification of conformance for its INTEGRITY-178 Time-Variant Unified Multi Processing (tuMP) RTOS for Arm architectures to the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Technical Standard edition 3.0. The INTEGRITY-178 tuMP RTOS was previously certified for both Intel and Power Architecture, therefore all three major processor architectures used for security- and safety-critical applications are now certified.

Intel architecture added to INTEGRITY RTOS
Green Hills Software has announced it has added Intel architecture to the certifications of conformance for its INTEGRITY-178 Time-Variant Unified Multi Processing (tuMP) RTOS to the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Technical Standard edition 3.0. INTEGRITY-178 tuMP was previously certified for Power Architecture. The certification covers both the Safety Base and Security profiles, and includes verification for C, C++ and Ada support for both profiles.

Operating system selected for DO-178B Level A Certification

Green Hills Software has announced that it has been selected by a US supplier of guidance and navigation equipment for commercial and military aircraft to provide its DO-178B Level A-compliant real-time multicore operating system for their next generation of equipment based on the Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC. The Ultrascale+ MPSoC includes four Cortex-A53 64-bit cores which will run Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY-178 Time-Variant Unified Multi Processing (tuMP) operating system.
