Steatite Embedded is continuing its investment in small but powerful industrial computing platforms with the announcement of the new Steatite STE-EMB-N2600 fanless industrial computer, measuring just 131mm x 81mm x 33mm. This compact, high performance industrial computer is the smallest embedded PC Steatite Embedded offers and it’s small size and low power consumption make it ideal for space critical applications such as digital signage.
The STE-EMB-N2600 features a dual core Intel Atom N2600 processor running at 1.60 GHz, it also sports VGA and HDMI outputs, six USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit LAN and two audio ports.

A heat-proof rugged case makes the STE-EMB-N2600 reliable in temperatures up to 50 degrees C, while an integrated passive cooling design ensures this industrial computer’s fanless operation is quiet, convenient and simple in all applications. The unit can be mounted on standard (75 x 75) VESA mounts.

Matt Brindle, business development manager at Steatite Embedded, comments: “We are always looking to expand our offering to meet users’ changing needs. Quiet, compact solutions that are cost effective and provide high performance and longevity are what customers demand, particularly in digital signage applications and the STE-EMB-N2600 fanless computer ticks all of the boxes.”

The STE-EMB-N2600 is targeted at customers looking for robust, compact computing platforms and is currently being used in signage, building energy and audio player applications from Europe to Japan.
