Pervasive Displays is giving readers of Electronic Specifier the chance to win one of five fantastic e-paper display (EPD) starter kits worth €250 each.
EPD technology mimics the appearance of ink on paper and holds text and images indefinitely, even without electricity. EPDs and single board computers or MCUs are a match made in heaven as they use a tiny amount of power whilst still bringing a display to your project.
Each kit comes with three screens: a 2.71” black and white screen with an external timing controller, a 2.87” red, black and white screen with internal Timing Controller (iTC) and a larger 4.2” red, black and white screen with an iTC.
The kit also contains a Pervasive Displays Extension Board Gen2 and TI Launchpad featuring programmable user buttons and an RGB LED for custom applications.
A newly released PaPiRus Hat for Raspberry Pi from Pi Supply is included that is capable of driving e-paper displays of various sizes.
