A true media man, Paul Tizard sadly passed away on October 29 following an accident at his home in Westerham, Kent. A true media man, Paul played hard, played hard and played hard. Then, if there was any time left for media buying, he could do that as well. During his time with Primary Contact, JDK and eventually Tiga, which he helped form, Paul handled some of the biggest accounts in the electronics industry and was known for his hard bargaining.
He was a long time Fulham FC season ticket holder and was still actively involved with Glyn Old Boys FC at Stoneleigh Park near Epsom where he grew up and went to school. Paul loved all sport and damaged several golf courses, punctured walls near dart boards and due to his extreme lack of body mass, was an exceptionally quick and highly competitive go-kart driver.

A shareholder in Youngs Brewery, Paul did his bit to ensure a dividend and regularly attended the AGM - where the product was freely available to shareholders. A sun worshipper, Tiz loved the Greek islands and paid a few visits to Oz during their summer and as a committed bachelor, his holiday romances rarely lasted the flight home.

Rock music was a passion and he was a keen concert goer with the Stones, Caravan and The Who amongst his favourites. He bowed out of the agency business after the 9/11 disaster and never wanted to return. He is sadly missed.
