A steady increase in sales performance has necessitated a move for digital signage specialist ONELAN to a larger establishment in Henley-on-Thames. The new 2500 sq ft commercial trading location accommodates not only ONELAN’s current needs, in terms of space and facilities, but also offers great expansion potential for future manufacturing.
The Company’s turnover was around half a million pounds in 2005, it doubled in 2006 and is forecast to double again in 2007. Consistent growth during the first three months of this year has resulted in record first quarter sales for ONELAN. To satisfy orders and technology, several new appointments have been made in manufacturing, software and customer support. The Company has recruited two highly skilled, hard-core, real-time software engineers, using Python where possible and customer service has grown to provide help both on-line and by ‘phone.

“I am very happy with the way business is progressing. In order to sustain this trend, it was essential to relocate”, asserts David Dalzell, ONELAN’s managing director. “It is very exciting to be in the forefront of a new concept, such as digital signage, where applications are pretty much limitless”, enthused Dalzell.

ONELAN was originally formed in Oxfordshire (UK) in 1988 and focused on high speed networking products. Since mid-2001, the company has focused on development and manufacture of Digital Signage media players interconnected by IP networks. It has developed leading edge hardware appliances and software products that deliver ease of use, manageability, network security and scalability to the world of Digital Signage – especially in ‘foyer-like’ environments.
