FactoryLogix chosen as Global MES Solution by GN Group

GN Group has announced that it has selected Aegis Software’s FactoryLogix MES solution to support its production requirements worldwide. Denmark-based GN Group is a global leader in the development and manufacture of intelligent audio systems for the medical, professional and consumer audio solutions industries, with products marketed under the premium brands of ReSound and Jabra.

After a thorough review of multiple MES systems, GN Group selected FactoryLogix because of the software’s comprehensive capability and the Aegis team’s ability to support of GN’s global operation.

“It was critical for us to replace our ‘home-grown’ systems with a powerful MES solution that would reduce operator faults, streamline our documentation workload and standardise communication with our manufacturing machines,” said Elvin Solberg, GN Group Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

“FactoryLogix offered the most cost-effective, positive business case for these criteria, in addition to being able to normalise all manufacturing site KPI data within one system. Having well-established local support that aligns with our worldwide manufacturing facilities was also a critical driver in choosing FactoryLogix over other MES systems.”

Commenting on the new partnership with GN Group, Aegis’ General Manager Europe, Daniel Walls, said: “We are delighted to be working with the GN Group, enabling their vision for a single MES system to connect all manufacturing sites within its global footprint. FactoryLogix will allow GN Group to optimise its production capabilities and achieve the company’s goals of improved manufacturing efficiencies through the reduction of manual data input errors and time-consuming documentation procedures.”
