The agreement was signed with Globes Elektronik, which is responsible for worldwide sales and marketing of HBH products and services.
Located near to the technology hub of Karlsruhe, HBH designs and manufactures active products and subsystems operating at frequencies up to 70GHz, including amplifiers, MMICs, converters, phase shifters and attenuators.
“HBH Microwave is very much an engineering-led company,” commented Steve Cranstone, Link Microtek’s managing director. “They are particularly good at addressing product obsolescence by developing subassemblies with the necessary form, fit and function to replace parts that are no longer available.
“They are willing to handle the low volumes that are typically involved and have enjoyed considerable success in the defence and space sectors. We are very pleased to be able to offer this capability to our customer base in the UK.”
