From its premises in the centre of Basingstoke, the company offers a comprehensive subsystem service, encompassing design, fabrication, assembly and test.
Working from a customer’s initial concepts, Link can either design the subsystem in its entirety or make recommendations for improvements in the original design. Once the design and specifications have been finalised, the company sources any standard components and produces the necessary customised hardware using its in-house machine-shop facilities.
The subsystems are then assembled, and finished units can be tested at up to 40GHz in Link Microtek’s own test and environmental laboratories. With teams of experienced microwave engineers and skilled craftsmen under one roof, the company is able to turn design ideas into reality in the shortest possible time.
Visitors to the stand at EuMW will also be able to see a wide range of products from the manufacturers that Link Microtek represents, including RF and microwave components from L3 Narda Microwave East, microwave vacuum devices from L3 Electron Devices, RF radiation safety instruments from L3 Narda Safety Test Solutions, frequency-control products from MtronPTI, and ferrite-based devices and subsystems from MESL Microwave.
