Data stored in each component includes the schematic symbol, footprint, and part information, including specific data such as value, tolerance, wattage, voltage, manufacturer part numbers and links to the manufacturer’s website.
The data is stored online and is accessed through Zuken’s LinkZ support system, where the user downloads the chosen components that can be saved locally, to projects, centrally and/or within a company global CADSTAR library or database. The addition of ST Microelectronics components follows after the recent addition of parts from Atmel and Wago.
We are constantly looking for ways to save time for our users. The recent addition of ST Microelectronics components to the CADSTAR parts library comes about as a result of requests from customers that have been passed onto to our product management and development team through our distributor channel, commented Jeroen Leinders CADSTAR distribution manager.
