In addition to the new 1,000 Watt X10 chassis, XP have announced the release of their new dual output modules to expand the entire fleXPower series. There are a total of 18 dual-output voltage combinations. Available output voltages are 2, 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24 V with outputs currents up to 10 Amps.
The fleXPower X10 provides multiple logic signals including global inhibit, AC OK, DC OK. A separate 5V standby output is provided to supply critical monitoring circuits.
The series has safety approvals making it suitable for commercial, industrial and medical applications. Commercial and industrial versions meet UL60950 and EN60950. Medical versions meet UL60601-1 and EN60601-1. All versions meet their respective levels for leakage current, isolation and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
The fleXPower family of modular, configurable AC/DC power supplies has been designed to deliver class-leading power density on packages 25% smaller by volume than other products in the market. The increased output from the high line input of the fleXPower X10 brings the power density to 6.67 W per cubic inch. Operating temperatures are -20ºC to +70º C with derating.
The efficiency of fleXPower units varies with each configuration but is typically 85% at full load. Over-voltage protection is fitted to all modules and operates between 115% and 130% of nominal. Units are fitted with over-temperature protection and all modules are overload and short circuit protected while line and load regulation are better than 0.1% and 1% respectively. Maximum ripple and noise are 50mV or 1% peak-to-peak at 20MHz bandwidth.
Samples are available in 2-3 days.
