Analog Devices Focuses On Industrial Application Design Challenges At Embedded World 2011

Analog Devices will turn its design and applications engineering expertise toward solving the challenges facing industrial instrumentation equipment, such as electrical isolation, wireless connectivity, measurement and control, at embedded world 2011. ADI’s booth is located at Hall 12, Stand 322.

At embedded world, ADI will be joined by embedded systems developer Bluetechnix and distribution partner Arrow Electronics.

The demonstrations at the ADI booth will include:

· Industrial Communications: Robot arm control over an isolated CAN (control-area network) communications bus, using ADI’s Blackfin processor and featuring the ADM3053 isolated CAN transceiver.

· Industrial Field Instruments: High-performance industrial field instruments (transmitter) signal processing solution, including analogue front-end interfacing, sensors and complete analogue and digital signal processing.

* Embedded Wireless Networking: Using ADI’s new ADuCRF101 radio SoC with a sub-1 GHz integrated transceiver and an ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller, this demonstration will show the transmission of various packet payloads specific to the energy and home automation application areas.
