Maxwell to show Ultracapacitors at electronica 2006

At Electronica 2006, Maxwell will be announcing new BOOSTCAP ultracapacitor products. Maxwell’s ultracapacitors provide advanced energy storage for applications in consumer and industrial electronics, automotive, transportation and telecommunications.

As well as the new products, Maxwell will be showing its complete product range of ultracapacitors, running from small cells rated up to 4F up to the large MC cells at 2,600F. The company’s multi-cell ultracapacitor modules will also be on display.

There will also be a demonstration at Maxwell’s stand (Hall B6, Stand 131) of a hand-held pipe-cutting tool which uses ultracapacitors for energy storage.
