The new power supply features a very compact U channel design and can be supplied with an optional integral fan cover if required. Operating at 85 percent efficiency, the power supply is able to provide up to 200W convection cooled or 350W with external fan cooling or the optional fan cover. Measuring only 38mm high in U channel format, the power supply is able to fit in a 1U high chassis or rack.
Input is from 85 to 264VAC with active power factor correction. A built-in Or-ing diode & single wire current sharing eliminates the need for external circuitry when using the device in a parallel redundant configuration. The units also include a 12V 1A auxiliary output and 5V at 2A standby output as well as overload, over-voltage and thermal protection.
Both models come with full safety and EMC approvals to EN55022”B” and FCC”B” and MTBF is in excess of 1,000,000 hours.
