Battery solutions feature at Armoured Vehicles show

Defence procurement specialist, Astute Electronics, is joining forces with a manufacturer of mobile energy products, Epsilor, to exhibit its powerful new battery solutions at the International Armoured Vehicles Conference in London’s Twickenham Stadium (January 22-25).

Experts will be available to discuss the design challenges of integrating reliable, high-power vehicle and battlefront mobile power sources – especially Epsilor’s new 6T rechargeable lithium batteries, which offer high energy density.

Rich Ford, Power Products Divisional Manager for Astute, says, “We’re excited by the prospect of discovering new design projects for Epsilor’s ground-breaking 6T battery range, as well as their customised solutions. Epsilor’s products are designed to serve in extreme environments – wherever reliability and clean energy are paramount.”

Epsilor President, Ronen Badichi, says, “International Armoured Vehicles provides us with an excellent opportunity to showcase our new 6T product family which enable extended silent watch and more efficient fuel consumption. These smart drop-in replacements for traditional batteries are a perfect solution for modern vehicles as well as for retrofit and modernisation programs of existing armoured fleets in NATO and in other advanced land forces.”

Epsilor’s Large Format Battery Program Manager, Ori Kost, will be presenting ‘A Roadmap for On-board Energy: From 6T to High Voltage Batteries’ during a special, opening-day panel discussion.
