BMZ GmbH is one of “Bavaria’s best 50” companies

For the fourth time, BMZ GmbH has been selected as one of the winners of the “Bavaria’s best 50” competition organised by the Bavarian state ministry of economic affairs, infrastructure, transport and technology in Germany. BMZ GmbH was distinguished for its particularly strong growth. In recent years BMZ has made outstanding improvements in its turnover and number of employees. Turnover was around 460 million US Dollars at the end of 2016. At present, BMZ group has around 2,300 employees worldwide.

BMZ group is a global player in the manufacture of lithium-ion system solutions. The group has its headquarters in Germany and production sites in China, Poland and the USA, as well as branches in Japan and France.

“BMZ group develops innovative products with technologies for the future. Our employees work enthusiastically on products that promote electromobility and the use of photovoltaic products, which help with the conservation of resources and which reduce CO2 as well as noise emissions. We are therefore contributing to more sustainable development,” explains Sven Bauer, CEO & founder of BMZ group.

The award for “Bavaria’s best 50” is given to the most dynamic companies in Bavaria. As such, it honours businesses that have made outstanding improvements in turnover and number of employees in recent years.

The award winners, spread across all administrative districts, were identified by an auditing company as independent adjudicator on behalf of the Bavarian ministry of economic affairs, in accordance with the two objective criteria.
