Powerbox joins the Power Sources Manufacturers Association

One of Europe’s largest power supply companies, Powerbox, has announced its membership to the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA). In this fast changing world, the power supply industry has had to become very dynamic, a situation requiring high levels of collaboration within the industry.

Since it was founded in 1985, the Power Sources Manufacturers Association has striven to advance the interests of the power supply industry through educational programmes, technical forums, networking, conference sponsorship and publications.

Developing advanced products for demanding applications in medical, industrial, transportation and defence areas, Powerbox sees PSMA as a collaboration ‘hub’ in which to share knowledge and to contribute to the development of future technologies, and in doing so decrease energy consumption and the global carbon footprint.

“IoT, Industry 4.0, new safety standards and energy efficiency regulations are just a few of the areas in which power supply manufacturers are challenged on a daily basis when developing new products,” said Patrick Le Fèvre, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Powerbox. “In a global business environment, the sharing of knowledge and best practices is key to meeting customers’ expectations in order to arrive at the most efficient technology platforms that conform with the latest standards and regulations.”

As part of its membership to PSMA, Powerbox is an active member of the Energy Efficiency Committee.
