Component obsolescence in focus at Amsterdam conference

The second annual Future of Obsolescence Management (FOM) conference organised by Converge, an Arrow Electronics company will be held in Amsterdam (Sept 13-14). The conference provides a 360° overview of how obsolescence affects the electronics industry and clarifies the needs of the different types of companies involved in it.

FOM represents the leading edge of current best practices on obsolescence management and challenges participants to collaboratively develop tomorrows’ solutions. 

The conference will feature experts from across the supply chain who will share their insights with delegates looking for robust obsolescence management solutions.   

Presentations on Wednesday 14 September will cover obsolescence management issues drawing on real life examples from industry segments including automotive, aviation and transportation.

There will also be speakers from Arrow group companies and other leading technology businesses covering all aspects of the supply chain, including production, testing and distribution.

The formal session will end with a moderated debate during which speakers will address questions from the audience. 

Converge is hosting a networking opportunity on the day prior to the conference, which will include a dinner and a boat tour on Amsterdam’s River Ij. Attendance at the networking event and conference is free of charge.
