Users have frequently commented how useful having a fibre connector on the end of their FLEXPOINT is when installing a light source in to a confined space, or where attaching a free-space laser would be unsuitable (i.e. water, dust, heat, electrical fields).
Separating the laser source from these hazards extends the life and provides easy access to the module. This also adds a benefit of being able to switch laser sources quickly and easily if you need to change wavelength or operating power.
