Offering load stability to 0.1% for up to 1,000 hours, the RoHS-compliant SHR 4-8065, SHR 4-80110, SHR 4-80216, SHR 4-80320, and SHR 4-80370 provide highly accurate and reliable current sensing in industrial power supplies, digital multimeters, current control systems, medical equipment, solar and wind inverters, and AC/DC converters, as well as systems such as battery chargers and test equipment for electric cars.
The resistors released today offer a wide range of power ratings — from 24W in free air to 2500W when mounted on a heatsink — with low resistance values from 0.005 Ω to 300Ω and tight tolerances to ±0.1%.
The devices feature maximum currents to 60A (with higher values and currents available upon request), very low inductance of <50nh, thermal EMF of <1 µV/°C, and a temperature range of -40°C to +130°C.
“The choice of a precision resistor can have far-reaching effects on system performance,” said Kai Karstensen, managing director of Powertron. “It’s a decision that often requires a high level of expertise and support, and Charcroft has a long history in the EU electronics industry of providing just that. They are the perfect partner for projects that demand stability, reliability, and precision.”
