AMD-based Mini-ITX boards deliver 55% improved 3D graphics

Offering outstanding graphics performance and power efficiency for embedded systems, the BE170, BE171 and BE173 APU-based Mini-ITX boards have been introduced by DFI. The AMD R-series APUs feature AMD Radeon HD9000 Graphics technology providing immersive HD multimedia interactivity, and delivering up to 55% improved 3D graphics performance than the previous-generation.

Equipped with four DisplayPort interfaces, each offering resolution up to 3840×2160 at 30Hz, the BE170 devices simultaneously supports four independent displays. All three boards support rich I/O interfaces including nine USB ports, four SATA 3.0 ports, four COM ports, and an 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. The Mini-ITX boards are particularly suitable for use in graphics and compute-intensive applications such as gaming, digital signage, and medical imaging.
