Kyocera’s Advanced Wide View (AWV) technology makes it possible to achieve an 85° viewing angle in all directions (left, right, top and bottom). The fully integrated Kyocera LED driver circuit allows backlight operation without the need for additional components. The TFT LCDs are designed with a standard LVDS interface and offer a wide operating temperature range of -30 to +80°C, suitable for outdoor applications.
“Kyocera has been creating innovative LCD technology for almost 40 years and providing the associated long-term support. This is an essential factor for the satisfaction of our customers in the automotive sector, in industry and in medical engineering,” said Shinichiro Kakigahara, President, Kyocera Display Europe. “All of our TFT LCDs are RoHS compliant and we strive to continually reduce our environmental impact in manufacturing.”
The Kyocera Group is actively engaged in the development of environmentally-friendly products and continually strives to reduce its use of environmentally hazardous substances in manufacturing.
