The chair is both for EMC basic research and for its practical application. Research work done in the laboratory of the Department of Electronic Engineering receives material support from Würth Elektronik eiSos. The company also offers internship and training units for the students.
The chairholder will begin work in the coming winter term of 2015/2016 by offering courses, seminars and international conferences and can assist with the preparation of final papers and dissertations. The chairholder is Prof. José Torres Pais. Steffen Mütsch and Jorge Victoria Ahuir, Product Managers, EMC components, Elektronik eiSos, will be available as lecturers on topics related to practical applications.
