The transmitter automatically sends its status to the receiver every time the switched live wired into it becomes active. The receiver then mirrors the transmitter’s status.
The system is suitable for environments where hard wire installation is expensive or unsightly. For example, Clayton at Meridian Control Systems used the MAINSLINK to prevent running cabling through a church.
