UXM wireless test set accelerates time to market

Verification of end-to-end IP data throughput for downlink rates of 587.5 Mbps is now possible with Keysight Technologies E7515A UXM wireless test set. Using three component carriers (3CC) and 256 QAM in the downlink, Keysight achieved sustained bi-directional 3GPP UE category 11 data rates.

“The addition of 256 QAM modulation in the downlink allows users to experience even higher data rates when coupled with three component carrier aggregation,” said Joe DePond, general manager of Keysight’s Mobile Broadband Operation.

The UXM’s built-in fading, integrated applications server, and easy-to-use touch screen interface, make it simple for LTE-Advanced design and test engineers to validate their device’s true data performance.

Coupled with X-Series measurement applications for RF transmitter test, and flexible receiver test capabilities such as closed loop testing and highly-configurable channel allocations, the UXM provides the cutting-edge capabilities needed to fully characterise device performance and assess design readiness with greater confidence.
