Featuring a cylindrical aluminium case with a pressure relief valve, insulated with a blue PET sleeve, the Vishay BCcomponents snap-in capacitors are available in 17 case sizes ranging from 20x25mm to 35x45mm, with voltages from 16 to 100V. The devices operate across a wide temperature range of -40 to +105°C, useful life of 2,000 hours at +105°C, ripple current to 4.85A, and ESR down to 14mΩ.
As polarised aluminium electrolytic capacitors with a non-solid electrolyte, the 256 PMG-SI devices are suited for smoothing, filtering and energy storage in pulsed power applications for audio amplifiers, LED drivers, UPS systems and solar power micro-inverters. The capacitors are lead (Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant.
