Circuit protectors feature auto-cycling & resetting thermal protection

Carling Technologies has announced the availability of its UL/CUL/TUV-approved CMBA/CLBA-Series auto-reset thermal circuit protectors. The CMBA/CLBA-Series feature automatic cycling and resetting thermal protection capabilities with the same performance as its traditional push-to-reset counterparts.

The circuit protectors are rated for 125-250VAC, 32VDC and 3-20A (CMBA) or 3-40A (CLBA). The devices’ dielectric strength is 2500VAC/1 minute, and their interrupting capacity is 2500A at 32VDC. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ, and the devices provide voltage drops of under 0.25V.

Suitable for applications including household appliances, transportation, power strips, medical equipment, AV equipment and power supplies, the RoHS-compliant devices operate across a temperature range of -10 to +60°C.
