LED driver targets AC direct dimmable applications

Ineltek UK, has available the latest addition to the Magnachip LED Driver family, MAP9010. MAP9010 allows designers of LED lamps and fixtures the benefits of analogue, PWM and Triac Dimming plus Over-Temp Protection (OTP) and Over-Voltage Protection (OVP). The MAP900x family of LED Drivers from Magnachip provide a combination of leading feature sets and product-enabling price points to allow the volume manufacture of LED lamps such as GU10 downlights, linear and 2D tube replacements and bespoke fixtures.

Standard features of the MAP900x family include: High Power Factor >95%; Low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) <20%;High Current Drive; and Compact Packages.

MAP9010 is available in a QFN12 package which Ineltek UK is sampling at the end of March. The distributor will provide reference schematics, design guidelines, parametric Excel design tools, application notes and design assistance.
