RF switch covers 9 kHz to 67 GHz

Richardson RFPD is stocking a new RF switch and associated evaluation board from pSemi.

The PE42545 is a HaRP technology-enhanced reflective SP4T RF switch die that supports a wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 67 GHz.

It delivers low insertion loss, fast switching time and high isolation performance, making it ideal for test and measurement, 5G mmWave, microwave backhaul, radar, and satellite communication applications.

No blocking capacitors are required if DC voltage is not present on the RF ports.

The PE42545 is manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS process, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator technology.

Additional key features of the PE42545 include:

  • Insertion loss: 2.6 dB @ 45 GHz
  • Switching time: 75 ns
  • Input P1dB: +33.5 dBm
  • Return loss: 20 dB @ 60 GHz

An evaluation board is available now from stock.
