SmartRay launches higher-precision successor

SmartRay has launched a 3D sensor within its inspection series to provide customers with the latest technology.

Following the success of the ECCO 65 and 75 models, SmartRay continues to support customers with the new ECCO 85+ range. Their best price-performance sensor to date within its category, the 85+ is economic and compact, bringing superior 3D image quality for reliable inspection and measurement. The sensor is placed within industrial compact housing promising stability and flexibility for machine and robot integration.

The launch follows confirmation that the ECCO 65 and 75 series will no longer be applicable for new applications.

Clare Rathsack, Business Unit Manager – ECCO Sensors, SmartRay, said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best user experience, we will continue to work with all existing ECCO 65 and 75 customers to ensure their applications operate with the latest cutting-edge technology. We are confident the ECCO 85+ can provide the best alternative.”
