The 1-DC-Series from Sensata Crydom is a family of rugged, panel mount DC Solid State Relays designed specifically for reliable and fast switching of DC loads.
Featuring MOSFET based outputs with very low on state resistance, these devices minimise power losses while delivering consistent, high-performance switching.

Each relay integrates its control and trigger circuitry into a compact, easy to use package, making them just as simple to implement as a traditional mechanical relay without the associated reliability concerns.
Thanks to their high PWM capability and broad selection of voltage and current options, the relays are suitable for a diverse range of DC switching requirements. The series includes 14 models, with ratings covering:
- 7, 12, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100A at 100VDC
- 7, 12 and 40A at 200 VDC
- 7 and 12A at 400VDC
- 7 and 10A at 500VDC
This wide selection of ratings allows designers to confidently select the optimal relay for their application without compromise.
The 1DC Series SSRs feature a wide control voltage range of 3.5 to 32V, providing maximum design flexibility and compatibility with common logic level control signals.
With a maximum input current of just 15mA, these relays are also extremely energy efficient. Fast response is assured, with turn on and turn off times of just 100µs (maximum), making the devices ideal for applications requiring rapid, precise switching.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the relays operate across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +100°C. The SSRs are housed in flame retardant UL94 V 0 materials and are UL recognised components, as well as CE compliant to EN60950 1.
When correctly installed, Solid State Relays can outperform mechanical relays by a factor of more than 10× in terms of reliability. The 1-DC-Series demonstrates this with an impressive MTBF exceeding 21 million hours at 40°C ambient, and more than 11 million hours at 60°C, ensuring long term, maintenance free operation.
